Dr. Cecilia Herles is the Assistant Director of the Institute for Women’s Studies at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, U.S.A. She teaches service-learning courses on The Gendered Politics of Food and Environment, Gender, Race, Class. She is a member of the NWSA (National Women’s Studies Association) North American Asian Feminist caucus. She is the recipient of the Service-Learning Teaching Excellence Award, the Creative Teaching Award, and the Sustainable UGA Outstanding Faculty Award.
