Join us for the Impact session at the 3rd World Conference on Gender and Women’s Studies, where we provide a platform to amplify your voice and celebrate your extraordinary journey. This session offers a unique opportunity to connect with a global audience comprising women, girls, academia, activists, scholars, and journalists. We warmly invite you to submit your powerful original story, narrative, work of art or workshop proposal and make a lasting impact by sharing your thoughts and experiences.

During the Impact session, we aim to explore a range of themes relevant to gender and women’s studies, including:
Genres and Submission Guidelines
We welcome submissions in various genres, including but not limited to:
- Personal Narratives: Share your personal stories, triumphs, challenges, and moments of empowerment.
- Creative Writing: Express yourself through poetry, prose, or short stories, exploring themes of gender, identity, and social justice.
- Activism and Advocacy: Share your experiences as an activist, highlighting the initiatives you've undertaken to promote gender equality.
- Visual Arts: Submit photographs, paintings, or other visual artwork that encapsulate your journey and inspire change.
- Workshop Presentations: In addition to story submissions, we also encourage participants to present their stories in the form of interactive workshops. These workshops enable you to engage directly with the audience, fostering meaningful discussions and offering practical tools for social change.

Submitting your powerful and inspiring stories for the Imppact session at the Gender and Women's Studies Conference is made easy with multiple submission methods. You can choose from the following options:

Conference Paper Submission Form: Complete the online submission form, which allows you to upload your story in the form of an MS Word or PDF file. This method ensures a streamlined and organized submission process.

Email Submission: If you prefer, you can email your story or video directly to info@gwsconf.org. This method allows for flexibility in the format of your submission, enabling you to share your story in a way that best represents your journey.

Fillable Form with File Upload: Another convenient option is to fill out the provided form, which allows you to upload your video or media file directly. This method is ideal for those who want to share their story visually or through other media formats.
3rd GWSCONF Impact Session Film Screening - Beyond the Straight and Narrow Followed by a compelling question and answer session with the film's director, Katherine Sender.
