Assist. Prof. Ana Margarida De Areia Soares
She is an Assistant Professor in Interior Architecture and Design at Coventry University, where she also serves as Course Director for the MA Interior Design. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Architecture, a PgDip in Architecture (RIBA Part II), an MA in Architecture and Digital Media, and an MA in Interior Architecture and Design. Ana is currently completing her doctoral studies at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on interior spaces and feminist design. Her research explores the intersection between architecture and perceived spaces in images, with particular interest in spatial theory and feminist approaches to design. She has been recognised for her contributions to design education and curriculum development.
