Okumba Miruka is a consultant with extensive expertise in gender, strategic planning, human rights, and training. He is a founder of men’s movement combating GBV and author of training manuals and Oral Literature books. Currently an adjunct lecturer at The Cooperative University of Kenya and gender columnist for Nation Media Group, Dr. Miruka holds a PhD in gender and development studies from Kenyatta University.
