Dr. Tayechalem Moges
Tayechalem Moges is an assistant professor at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. She specializes in women’s and girls’ rights law in Africa, feminist post-colonial legal thought, and gender-based violence. Dr. Moges is an Academic Lead in UGHE’s Graduate Program in Gender & Sexual Reproductive Health and has collaborated with the African Union, UN Agencies, and CSOs on gender and human rights initiatives. She also served as a teaching fellow at the University of Melbourne Law School, teaching courses on global justice and legal research. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Laws in human rights from Central European University.
