Ms. Jordan Ho

Jordan Ho is an undergraduate student at Lehigh University pursuing a double major in English and Philosophy. She is a member of the National Humanities Center’s Leadership Council, an undergraduate council seeking to apply humanistic perspectives to the challenges of contemporary society, and an incoming Visiting Student at the University of Oxford. Coming from a grassroots advocacy background, her research focuses on outlining resistance strategies for marginalized groups against narratives of domination from politics to the literary canon. Particularly, her current research projects concentrate on the use of formal rhetoric to criminalize and/or decenter LGBTQ+ populations in authoritarian regimes and contemporary anti-colonial strategies of approaching the late Medieval to Early Modern literary canon.
