Ms. Raikhan Primbetova
Raikhan Primbetova is an undergraduate student at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, pursuing a B.S. in International Economics. She served as a Gender+ Justice Fellow in 2024–2025, developing the project State Power, Gendered Repression, and Labor Exploitation: A Feminist Political Economy of the ALZHIR Camp. Her research focuses on feminist political economy, carceral studies, and historical memory in the post-Soviet region. Raikhan has received a Georgetown University Research Grant (2024) and a Center for Research and Fellowships (CRF) Grant (2025), and has presented her work at international conferences. Recognized on the Dean’s List and with First Honors (2023–2025), she is committed to advancing scholarship that centers women’s voices in histories of repression and connects past injustices to present struggles for equity.
