Dr. Taiwo Adekemi Agnes
She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D in Yoruba Literature(2019). She is the current Sub-Dean, Faculty of Arts. Her areas of specialization include African Literature, Nollywood Films, Yoruba Cultural Studies and Sociolinguistics. She organized a panel on Gender and Patriarchy in Nollywood Films at the Lagos Studies Association 2025 Conference which was held at University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. Twenty scholars subscribed to the panel but only seventeen participated at the conference with engaging presentation. Dr Taiwo have published in International and local journals.
